Michael Price, Small College Procurement Consultant

Michael Price will be joining the E&I team on July 15, 2024 as a Small College Procurement Consultant.  Michael will be reporting to Matt Sirinek, Executive Director, Small Market Engagement and will be working remotely from his home office in Waconia, Minnesota.

As a Small College Procurement Consultant, Michael will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for E&I’s eProcurement solutions in the Small College Market.  He will educate Chief Financial Officers (CFO’s) and Chief Business Officers (CBO’s) at smaller higher education institutions about the criticality of cooperative purchasing as a means to drive savings for their institutions.  His primary objective will be to promote and sell “Blank Buy”, our innovative e-procurement platform tailored to purchasing off E&I contracts.

Michael joins our organization with over 19 years’ experience in higher education finance.  In his present role at Crown College, Michael leads the critical efforts of enrollment, IT, Business & Finance, and Operations.  He is responsible for generating 95% of the college’s revenue along with the fiscal responsibility to manage budgets and invest in future growth opportunities.  Preceding this role, Michael was the Chief Enrollment Officer at North Central University where he provided leadership for residential, online, and graduate enrollment for the university.  He was a member of the President’s Counsel and was responsible for all strategic initiatives including financial aid and marketing.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and fishing.
