Better We, Better Week, August 5, 2024: The Magic Within: A Disneyland Love Story

As a lifelong Disneyland devotee, my connection to the park runs deep. A Magic Key holder who visits regularly, I have experienced  the privilege of getting engaged to be married within its magical realm. My Disney journey even includes a brief stint as a cast member in Fantasyland merchandising, an experience that further ignited my passion. When considering what to write for this article, the choice was clear: my Happy Place had to be the focus.

The undeniable enchantment that surrounds Disneyland takes me to a world of imagination. Disneyland to me is more than just a collection of animated characters, thrilling rides, and captivating attractions; it is a portal to different eras, countries, and even universes. There truly is no place I would rather be.

Disney’s influence extends far beyond the park gates, shaping our culture in profound ways. Iconic characters like Simba, Moana, and Elsa inspire us to overcome challenges, embrace our individuality, and discover our inner strength.
