We have some exciting news to share with you! Katie Belviso will be joining the E&I team on September 23, 2024 as an Accounting Specialist for the Finance Department. Katie will report to Lauren Siracusa, Revenue Accounting Manager and will work a hybrid schedule from the Jericho office and her home on Long Island. As an Accounting Specialist, Katie will be responsible for performing various accounting functions primarily focused on accurate and timely recording of member purchases and revenue and maintenance of membership files in the Accounting software platform. Katie will also be researching business partner exception reports, which are generated by member purchases processing and will detail all unallocated purchases to a specific E&I member.
Katie joins our organization with over 7 years of experience in Accounting. She began her career as an Accounting Assistant at Healthplex and was promoted several times throughout her tenure. As Treasurer at Healthplex, Katie assumed the additional responsibilities of the Treasurer position when it became merged with the Sr. Accountant position into one sole position. As Treasurer, she prepared quarterly financial board meeting minutes and quarterly financial packets to be distributed to board members as well as presenting quarterly financials at Board of Directors meetings. Prior to being promoted to Treasurer, Katie was a Sr. Staff Accountant at Healthplex where she prepared monthly financials for the non-for-profit subsidiary and prepared quarterly and annual regulatory NYS insurance department reports. She also analyzed monthly actual versus budget variances and performed bank reconciliations for the company’s four different accounts.
In her spare time, Katie enjoys spending time with her family, going for runs outside, and reading.
