Great Morning Team!
I hope you all had an opportunity to enjoy a nice long holiday weekend!
As we all know, the last couple of weeks have been filled with a wide range of feelings, as a result of the re-organization to support our new organizational strategy. I thought for this week’s post, I would share an inspiring 13-minute Ted Talk video titled, “Why Change Is So Scary — and How to Unlock Its Potential,” an inspiring presentation led by Maya Shankar, Author and Cognitive Scientist. Maya shares her own personal story of how she navigated through some truly difficult circumstances and through her journey, found herself contributing differently and making a positive impact for others in the most unexpected way. Click here to watch video.
I won’t give much away, except to share that this video offers an invitation of how to view, think about and manage change differently. There are three pivotal questions Shankar shares that we can ask ourselves that can help us grow, leading us to become 1% better every day, and perhaps eventually the best version of ourselves thought it all.
Check it out and let me know what you think in the comments section below.
Wishing you all a Better We, Better Week! 😊

Great watch Lori Beth! I love the three pivotal questions the speaker poses, especially ‘How might this change how you define yourself?” It’s a powerful invitation to look for the opportunities hidden inside the challenge. Thanks for helping us keep a growth mindset during this shift and excited to see how we all grow from this!
